Payday Super takes effect: employers must pay Super Guarantee contributions that reach employees' super funds within 7 business days of each payday, replacing the quarterly model. The Super Guarantee rate is 12%, calculated on an employee's qualifying earnings (the new earnings base that replaces ordinary time earnings from 1 July 2026).
New Default Market Offer electricity prices in force for households and small businesses on standing offer contracts in NSW, South East Queensland and South Australia. The DMO acts as a price safety net and reference price.
