Change pills and trend lines show direction only — teal for a rise, red for a fall — and are not a view on whether a move helps or hurts you. Figures are reproduced from the Singapore Department of Statistics without adjustment; nothing here is estimated, smoothed or interpolated. Release schedules differ, so the periods in the last column are not all the same: the freshest series here runs to 2026 Aug and the slowest to 2025. Always check the official release before relying on a figure.

How to read this page

One table, one source, no estimates

Every figure below is reproduced exactly as the Singapore Department of Statistics published it. Money Snap adds no forecasts, no seasonal adjustment of its own and no gap filling.

Each series is dated on its own

SingStat releases on different schedules. Official foreign reserves are monthly and land within weeks; the labour force participation rate is annual and lags by a year. The period column shows what each figure actually refers to, so two rows on this page can legitimately sit months apart.

Colour means direction, not judgement

Teal marks a rise on the previous published reading and red marks a fall. Whether that is welcome depends entirely on your position — a higher resale price index helps a seller and hurts a buyer — so the colour never implies good or bad.

Index figures need their base year

An index is only meaningful against the period set to 100. The Consumer Price Index uses 2024 as its base year, retail sales and industrial production use 2025, and both property price indices use the first quarter of 2009. Comparing an index across a rebase is not valid.

Common questions

Every series is pulled straight from the Singapore Department of Statistics Table Builder, the government’s own statistics service. Each row on this page records the exact SingStat table it came from and links to it, so any figure can be checked at source in one click.

Important Disclaimer

For educational and informational purposes only. This page reproduces economic statistics published by the Singapore Department of Statistics (SingStat) through its Table Builder service. Figures are presented as published, with no adjustment, forecast or estimate added by Money Snap. Where a figure has been converted to a different unit for comparability, the conversion is recorded in the underlying data file.

No warranty of accuracy. While Money Snap takes reasonable care to reproduce official figures faithfully, this page is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Statistics are revised: SingStat routinely restates earlier periods, and an indicator shown here may since have been revised or rebased. Always verify against the official release before relying on a figure.

Not financial advice. Economic statistics describe what has already happened in the wider economy. They say nothing about any individual's circumstances, and nothing on this page constitutes financial, tax or legal advice, nor does use of this page create an advisory relationship. Direction indicators describe movement in a published number and are not a recommendation. For decisions, obtain advice from a professional licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
